SCE Obtains Esri State & Local Government Specialty

Date: September 18, 2025

We are pleased to announce that SCE has obtained our State & Local Government Specialty (SLG) with Esri as of August 2025. This designation highlights our deep expertise in applying ArcGIS solutions tailored to the unique needs of city, county, and state government agencies. This recognition assures our Clients that we possess proven skills in configuring, deploying, and supporting Esri technology to address everything from infrastructure planning and public works to community engagement and development services. As a specialty-certified partner, SCE can accelerate your GIS goals—delivering agile, sustainable, and data-driven solutions that modernize operations, enhance transparency, and elevate outcomes across your organization.

This SLG accomplishment recognizes SCE’s ability to deliver professional GIS services and solutions that leverage the latest versions of ArcGIS—including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise. These tools support advanced spatial analysis, data management, and powerful data visualization capabilities. Our GIS teams apply Esri software to create maps, dashboards, 3D models, digital inspection forms, and other location-based solutions that directly benefit our Clients and projects nationwide. Additionally, GIS empowers government organizations to improve transparency and collaborate more effectively with citizens and communities.

SCE also configures Esri’s commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software to provide custom GIS solutions tailored to our Clients’ project needs. We help Clients stay current with Esri technology by monitoring updates to ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and other Esri products, ensuring their GIS solutions remain effective and compatible with evolving software.

Our team understands the unique challenges facing local government organizations and delivers GIS solutions tailored to each Client’s needs. We regularly work with public works, utilities, including stormwater, sanitary sewer, water distribution, electrical, and natural gas, along with planning and zoning, tax assessment, and other municipal departments to design tools that improve operations and support regulatory compliance. From asset management to parcel data, zoning, and community engagement, we help local governments implement intuitive web maps, dashboards, and mobile applications that enhance transparency and streamline decision-making. By integrating GIS into everyday operations, our solutions strengthen data management, improve cross-department collaboration, and build smarter, more resilient communities.
